NHS Health Checks

Health Checks are available at the surgery.

The nurse will take a blood sample to test for cholesterol and sugar. She will also weigh you and measure your waist circumference. The purpose of this health check is to promote lifestyle changes with advice on a healthy diet.

Any underlying health issues will need to be discussed with a GP and not at the health check appointment.
